Join us at the bookstore for the in-person Happy Hour to have a cocktail, get a cupcake, talk books, and then head downstairs to MISCellaneous Distillery for a tour!

The Last Word and MISCellaneous Distillery are partnering to host a book-themed Happy Hour - attend in-person or at home!
*A book-themed cocktail (or mocktail), copy of the book/puzzle, cupcake, and distillery tour are included in the price of your ticket. You may purchase additional cocktails at the event.
Join us remotely by selecting and picking up a Cocktail Kit for Two ahead of time, and check out MISCellaneous Distillery's website to learn more about their award-winning spirits!
*The Cocktail Kits will include: DIY cocktail-for-two ingredients, two books or a puzzle, and two cupcakes.
We're celebrating three important dates in March with our book choices:
How the Irish Saved Civilization by Thomas Cahill (St. Patrick's Day 3/17)
The Fall of the House of Usher and Other Writings by Edgar Allan Poe (Maryland Day 3/25)
Bringing Down the Duke by Evie Dunmore (Bridgerton season 2 premiere! 3/26)
OR....If your reading list is a little out of control, by popular request, we are including a non-book option!
500-piece Ireland puzzle
Accompanying drink choices are similarly festive: The Maryland Mule (bourbon-based) and It's Cherry Blossom Season (vodka-based)!
Cupcakes are from our partner and local bakery, Diane's Cupcakery.
Ages 21+. We WILL be checking IDs for cocktails.
