Description

Parents & their children are welcome to join us at FPC Church in downtown Frederick for brunch, discussion and Juneteenth activity for kids.

Event Details

Juneteenth has become one of the highest celebrated holidays by African Americans in the last 50 years. Though, the question remains: "Do our children have an understanding of its significance?"
The goal of this workshop will be to provide families and children with fun, educational activies that will help them better understand the holiday and what role it plays in their life and Christian faith.
On June 18th the family ministry at Frederick Presbyterian Church will host a brunch discussion and workshop for parents and children discussing Juneteenth in the light of the gospel.
This relaxed and friendly gathering will be a means to meet parents learn ways to educate their children on Juneteenth while also discussing the Christian significance of the holiday and how it can point our children to a greater relationship with Christ.
We hope to see you there!
Please contact Families@ frederickpresbyterian.org or call 301-509-0028 if you have any questions.
Open to parents and children ages 4 and up.
Children ages 4 and below, Nursery will be provided upon request.
Takes place at Frederick Presbyterian Church.
