Join us for this new monthly lunch series! Programs led by artists, scholars, art historians, and experts explore an exciting range of topics rated to the visual arts. A tasting of wine, beer, or a spirit that concerts to the topic is provided.
Event Details
This month, artist Lesa Cook will discuss the influence of Andrea del Verrocchio as a sculptor, painter, and teacher of some of the best-known artists of the Renaissance, including Leonardo da Vinci and Sandro Botticelli. Lesa will highlight Vercocchio's groundbreaking sculptures, such as "David Victorious," and paintings, such as "Madonna With Seated Child." A tasting of Florentine Chiantis is provided by Spin The Bottle Wine Company.
Free and open to adults 21 and older.
