The Bethesda Row Cinema is located in the heart of Bethesda, Maryland's Central Business District. The new cinema features the finest in independent film and foreign language cinema and is part of a new 140,000 square foot building. Each auditorium in the theatre features stadium seating and wall-to-wall screens, augmented with sound systems incorporating the latest digital sound technology. Other amenities include a theatre espresso bar offering locally produced baked goods as well as a traditional concession stand. Parking: In the immediate vicinity of the Bethesda Row Cinema there are four major parking lots. The lot located directly atop the theatre is open Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 11:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00am, and Sunday from 9:00am (or after the Farmers' Market) to 8:00pm. The parking rate is $5.00 all night. Entry is off Elm Street and there is no limit on exit time. There are two outdoor lots across the street from the theatre and one large parking garage between Woodmont and Arlington on Bethesda Avenue. The small lots have very few 9-hour to 15-hour meters, and they fill up very quickly. These meters are silver, as opposed to the blue, dark gray and copper ones which range from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
