Boonsboro Town Elections will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Eugene C. Smith Community Center in Shafer Park from 7:00AM until 8:00PM.

The citizens of Boonsboro will be voting to fill the positions of Assistant Mayor and 3 Council Members. Candidates names will be posted on/or after April 10, 2018.
Every resident within the corporate limits of Boonsboro who is a registered voter in Washington County is a qualified voter of the Town.
Certificate of Nomination & Financial Disclosure Statement for candidates can be picked-up at Town Hall. All candidates interested in running for office must submit their Certificate of Nomination and Financial Disclosure Statement to Town Clerk Sarah Campbell by 4:30PM on April 9, 2018.
Interested in serving your community as a public official?
- Candidates must be citizens of the United States, a registered voter, and a resident of the Town for at least 3 years immediately preceding the election.
- Candidates for Assistant Mayor must be at least 25 years of age and candidates for Council must be at least 21 years of age.
Absentee Ballot applications can be obtained from Town Hall. Absentee Ballot applications must be signed and returned to Town Hall by 4:30PM on May 1, 2018 (7 days prior to the Election). Absentee Ballots must then be delivered to Town Clerk Sarah Campbell no later than 8:00PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in order to be counted in the Town Election.

The deadline to register to vote for the Town election is Monday, April 16, 2018.
