Single Mother Self-Care: A Safe Space Yoga Workshop
Event Details
The journey of single motherhood is as unique as the women who are single mothers. It can feel like an every day struggle of trying to keep things going for yourself and your child(ren). As a single mother for ten years, I know what it's like to question yourself, to be hard on yourself, and to wonder when things will ease up. As a yoga teacher and healing arts practitioner, I also know it's important to find tools and practices that will support you along the way.
This safe space workshop is being created as a community where you will be seen and heard. We'll explore breathing techniques, visualization exercises, journaling, and a restorative yoga practice that are all designed to help nurture, fortify, and empower you. Each participant will also be treated to elements of Thai Yoga Massage. The goal is for you to leave feeling refreshed, restored, and connected with other mothers who share your experience. No matter the story of how you became a single mother, this healing space is for you.
