Painting Parties throughout central Maryland and beyond! Hi, My name is Dawn Fernald-Spruill and I have been an artist all my life. I have 3 certifications from Mitsubishi as a Precious Metal Clay (PMC) artist, I paint, I work with stained and fused glass and generally I just love to be creative. I found my nitch though 25 years ago when friends asked me to teach them Stained Glass. I'm like "I can't teach this" they were like "we will pay you"...so I jumped in. I did everything I could to make the class fun and informative and it worked. From there I did my certifications and began teaching Silver and PMC classes up and down the east cost. When silver prices went through the roof I went on a few years hiatus and tried to look inward to see what I wanted, needed to do. Painting just seemed to be the next step. I have been drawing and painting since I was a child and was taught techniques by a great artist from Cape Cod Massachusetts who was a friend of my parents. Not only do I paint on canvas and glass but also on raw silk giving folks a wearable piece of art. Right now I am trying to do something different then the bar scene by hosting paint nights in your home so you control the evenings libations and I control the creative fun!
