Description
The purpose of this 5k Run is to support underprivileged children (orphans, those living in distressed homes, etc.) and low-income families who do not have the opportunity to receive education limited or no access to food and the daily necessities of life
Event Details
FDSF works effortlessly to support surrounding communities by giving them the opportunities and the hope they never had or experienced. For some, this might be due to poverty or displacement; while for others, it might be the unfortunate circumstances of life that led to their present situation.
Through this 5K Run, we will increase the awareness of these issues by running, or walking, miles to become pillars and a voice for those going through these issues.
For every 1 child that is liberated, a generation will be impacted.
This year's run will be taking place on May 4, 2019 @ Bowie Town Center (Bowie, MD)
