Simon center welcomes Charles County Rocks to spread cheer and creativity with rock painting

Calling all creatives! St. Charles Towne Center is set to welcome Charles County Rocks for an afternoon of community spirit on Saturday, September 23 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. St. Charles Towne Center is offering two sessions of colorful rock painting at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring creativity and laughter, as well as an abundance of family and friends. Rocks, donated from Wintergreen Landscape Maintenance and Nursery, paint and colorful tools will be provided for all guests. The cheer doesn’t stop at St. Charles Towne Center! Once the rocks have had a makeover, they can be scattered around Maryland for the community to enjoy. Suggested donations at this free event will carry forth the spirit of goodwill and will support the Simon Youth Foundation, a national non-profit dedicated to providing educational opportunities for area young adults.
