School is almost back in session, and Bowie Town Center is gearing up to help local shoppers stock up on all the necessities this season during 2014 Tax Free Week. From Sunday, August 10 through Saturday, August 16, Baltimore-area shoppers can enjoy a state sales-tax exemption on qualifying apparel and footwear $100 or less. The deals don’t end there – Bowie Town Center will help shoppers save even more through special offerings available online at the Simon Retailer Showcase available at simon.com.
WHAT: Back-to-School Event: Friday, August 15 from 4-7 p.m.
Families can bring their little ones for a full afternoon of fun, as they get ready to start a new school year. The event will feature back-to-school arts and crafts, face painting, a bounce slide, prize giveaways and live entertainment by The Beginning Works! Bowie Town Center invites families to stay into the evening for its Friday Night Live Concert Series, featuring Greydog Band. As always, guests are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs.
